Melia Bali Indonesia celebrated the Universal Children Day on 20 November 2014. This event was held in conjunction with the Melia Hotels International sustainability calendar to honor children globally.
This year slogan is: Children’s Education as an Imperative to Sustainable Development.
Participants were from SDN1 Benoa (Elementary School Benoa Village), Elisama Orphanage and some in-house kids with total of 40 children.
Special activities and programs were arranged for the children to learn and enjoy this special day with all new friends, which are: introduction to waste management, cleaning blitz, face painting, cooking class, fruit carving, beading activity and releasing the balloon.
All the children were so happy and full of smile, enjoying the joyful and unforgettable experiences with the delicious lunch and gift distributed at the end of the session.
